A Christmas Story

'It's just after midnight, ' said the elves,
'Santa, you have to go! It's a minute past twelve!
Your sleigh is ready, full of gifts and toys,
To send to all the good girls and boys!
I sprinkled the reindeers with stardust, they are ready to fly!
See you soon Santa. Goodbye! Goodbye! '

The sky was dark, but the moon was so bright,
It lit up the sky that very night.

“Go, Dasher! Go, Dancer! Go, Prancer! Go, Rudolf! and Vixen!
Fly, Comet! Fly, Cupid! Fly, Donner! Fly, Bambi! and Blitzen! '
Pull as hard as you can! Pull! Pull! Pull!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all! '

'This sleigh seems too heavy, it’s stating to rock!
Let’s go, let’s go, we must not stop!
Go left, go right, mind that cloud!
We have to be quiet, but these bells seem too loud! '

'What’s this I see in the distance behind the trees?
A house full of kids? , I’ve got my skeleton keys!
HO, HO, HO! On the rooftop we must go!
Stop, stop, stop! Fly low, low, low! '

Into the house Santa creeps! Not a floorboard can be heard.
Everyone seems to be asleep; you can't even hear a word!
The little children are in dreamland, they dream of things
That only imagination can bring..
Cookies and cakes that mummy bakes,
Games and toys that keep you awake!
Superheroes and cars and barbie dolls,
All these at once in yummy sweet stalls!

But the gifts on their minds
Are the presents under the tree,
That they will find!

A letter from Santa was left on the table next to some crumbs.
All the drink and food was gone, even all the fruit buns! !
'Thank you for the food and drink you have left for me..
And the food for my dear, dear.. reindeers; that will keep them happy!

'HO, HO, HO!
Off we go! OFF WE GO! !

'We have lots of work! lots of work to do!
Take off the brake shoe! lets cruise, lets cruise! lets cruise!
Pull as hard as you can! Pull! Pull! Pull!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!
