A Conversation With 'I'-Part(Ix) - Poem by Pratyush Mishra

(ix)
On the path of Life
I met a blind man
Tapping his way out
He knew I was there
And asked in desperation
“What is Light? ”
I had no answer
‘Must’ve taken Light to be granted.

On the path of wisdom
On the path of strife
I treaded cautiously
And asked “What is Life? ”

“This shows YOU are blind! ”
Laughed a voice beside me
I turned and saw him
Tapping on the path
With a sturdy stick
Slowly but gaily he made
His way through Life.
