A Conversation With 'I'-Part (V) - Poem by Pratyush Mishra
Wood water fire sky
From these rises a forest
From the forest- a flock of birds
In the quiet forest
Rapidly a brook flows by
Near a lonely shrine of God
With a lonely priest
Entranced in the study of the Divine
From the shrine prayers of devotees fly
Stars in the sky
Sparkling now and then
Speaking of a distant past
A blast long ago that did happen
A story unfolding
With one everlasting Sigh!
On a big Blue world
In an obscure star system
In an obscure galaxy
An obscure poet questions
Life is stardust!
Simple transformation of energy!
He ponders as his thoughts fly
