Life hasn’t been easy till now nor I expected anything less
I lived life based on conditions, made choices that cause pain
To everyone who ever attached with a wretched soul like me
I could have started afresh with you I know you gave me a choice
I know I should have took it then but I walked away from you
Turned my back on your love left you in shatters and pieces
I wanted us to be beautiful and happy ever after forever and ever
But I walked away from you the only one who tendered my heart
Scared of your love, so much love, unworthy of such love I am
I walked away scared from you scared of the beautiful life ahead
Scared of the multiple possibilities, your dream world had to offer
All you wanted was love from me I gave you all I could my love
Till my heart ran dry of love, it never learnt to love again
You taught me to love, but the heart was poisoned with hate
It couldn’t take the love, so pure it burned my heart into ashes
I didn’t deserve the love, so true so pure that it made my soul cringe
A little courage was needed to stand up a little determination to walk the line
Deep down I know I love you but a spineless coward I have become
Sorry I cant be the hero anymore, the end of fairytale has come.
No apologies would undo my bad neither I have words to say any
Forgive me not for the pain I caused, not for the tears I made you cry
Hate me, scorn me, despise me, hate me into oblivion lost for good
You deserve better than me but not me not a spineless coward who cant dream
You deserve a better man, a better lover who makes your dreams come true
Stands with you when you need him, never lets you cry a tear ever
One with a large heart to give you all the love that you truly deserve
There’s a hero waiting for you, move ahead a hero is waiting for you.
