A Cry Unheard Poem by Daniel Cherenet

A Cry Unheard

Rating: 4.0

A cry gone by unheard
might as well as be a shot heard around the world
because at the end of the day they both end up lonely

many wishes cased with hopes of coming true
many hopes shot down, so you drown in your shots
the only place that gives you the illusion of what paradise feels like

waking up the next morning, you got a headache from reality shaking you up

as you throw up all your problems, you realize your back in the same slump you escaped

running always from my problems but im feeling tired
the same day i look fear in the eye will be the same day i ask her out
but that's irrelevant and my fear is only relative to me

after all the only true relative i got is me
