A Day With Shakespeare Poem by Brian Msekiwa

A Day With Shakespeare

I asked him for advice
And he said take my poems and revise
When you write be emotional
In that way your poems will be influential
Let the words and the rhymes flow
Don't force it just let it go
If your first Isn't so good don't worry
Everything small in time shall grow

Write about things around you
But don't forget to add spices too
Don't force words to rhyme
In poetry that's a crime
Instead develop a relationship with the words
And explore each other like newly weds

Now go and do as I say
For in due season it shall pay
And remember have courage as a young Shakespeare
And with that you will never shake with fear
