A Disturbed Street - Poem by Kariuki Samuel Mutiga

A lonely street
Yet
Here and there
People walking
Up and down
The streets
With wierd....minds
-thots
under pressurised pressure
Haphazardly
shooting
up and down
They cris
they cross
Helter
skelter
to form
Brain cells
concentrated with
Neurotism
Which in turn form
Clay which mould
Bricks that build
A disturbed brain
A disturbed soul
A disturbed being
A disturbed street
