A Dream Shattered Poem by Brian Arguello

A Dream Shattered

When a dream is shattered
A life is left tattered
When it is crushed and splattered
Its creator is left flatter
No more happiness and laughter
For the dream holder
The world becomes a little darker
A little colder
And as the dream holder
Grows older
Life seems to smoulder
