A Flying Dutchman - Poem by Marc Hurkmans

You took off
so hopeful

Revolutionary garbage
out the window

The red lights
at a distance

Straight through
the sickening waves

The waves remain
indifferent

Taking their secrets
to bottomlessness

As you dive

And dive and dive
