A Force Poem by Elvis Lantan

A Force

Rating: 5.0

Change comes uninvited
By force
Or unwelcomed

That tree is no longer a tree
It's a log

The streets lead somewhere else now
Where were you going?

We pay with time
For something we have no days for

We buy shoes
Collect shirts
Try a different fit
For the sake of change

But it comes
Unwelcomed
Because we cannot change it.
