A Friend In Deep Disguise
We find ourselves
growing angry
with the person
standing before us
saying things
we do not wish to hear
doing things
we do not wish done
we think this person our enemy
there is always
something to be learned
from every source of irritation
so perhaps every enemy
is instead
a friend in deep disguise
how easy it is
to see an enemy
how hard to accept the lesson
