A Girl Poem by zara williams

A Girl

There's a girl that cries every
night before she goes to bed.
because everything mean anyone
has said about her, goes through
her head.
she doesn't want to tell anyone
in fear of what they might say.
not knowing if she could bear
another day.
the way she deals with it is
self harm.
having scars up both of her arms.
wishing she didn't have to live
in fear.
hoping that it would get better
next year.
a girl that has never done any
thing wrong.
just a girl that feels she
don't belong.
a girl that is in the brink o breaking.
tonight her life she is taking.
tears roll off her face and
onto the floor.
she has been planning this day
long before.
there's so many ways to do this
she thought to herself.
while everyone's sleeping she
creeps down stairs, and gets the
the gun off the shelf.
locking herself in her room, away
from the outside world.
no one ever thought it would
come to this, such a sweet girl.
with a pull of the trigger her
soul leaves.
leaving her friends and family
to grieve.
a girl that had never done any
thing wrong.
just a girl that felt she didn't
belong.
tonight her life she has taken.
