May all your dreams be left in the hollow
Of a reality gone lost
There’s a girl like a path to follow
Though her ways are covered all in dust

And stonier than the ones you have walked so far
But you will stand aloof
No one may find you there ‘neath her heavy tar
Nor the voice that hunts for you from every roof

Meagre in her sound-proof safety
Is this girl like a path to follow
May all her dreams be left hollow
And hunt whisperingly for their quondam reality
