A Good Date. Poem by Luke Curcio

A Good Date.

From the window you see me from the street.

I walk with a determined set pace.

Soon to see your face.

We've both been thinking about eachother all week.

You grabbed a table for us.

You're sitting down patiently waiting.

I walk in to see you.

With smiles our eyes lock.

I see the excitement in yours.

We say hello without speech.

What words could such romance speak?
