You are a good and true friend indeed,
Which is exactly the kind of friend I really need.
You're such a tonic when I'm feeling down,
And I always feel great when you are around.
Everyone should have a friend like you,
Someone they can always turn to.
You are an oasis in the desert of life,
And just one of your smiles can make the world right.
You're always there with a shoulder to cry on,
And I know it's you that I can rely on.
But I want you to know that it works both ways,
And if you ever need help, Then you just have to say.
A friendship like ours must always be treasured,
Where sharing a problem or laugh is always a pleasure.
Life can be tough if you don't have a friend,
Which is why our friendship must never end
