A Hearts Dream Poem by Jacob Courtney

I saw you again last night in my dreams. It
seems my heart just won't let go. It keeps
bringing up memories from our time together.
Why must my heart be such a pain why must
it keep reminding me of the love we shared.
It must enjoy torturing me with all of this for I can
not think of any other reason. Our time has come
and passed yet my heart has yet to get the
message. Why must it be so stubborn with
the thoughts of you. I wander does your heart
do the same. Does it bring memories us
to your dreams and make wish that things
would be different. Does it make wanna take
a chance and try again. Does it make you ache
at the core of your being. Reguardless I shall close
my eyes tonight and see you once again in the dream
of hearts....may it find happiness instead of pain..
