A Hole In The Wall - Poem by D. Harris

cigarette smoke and the smell of gin
and you know that you're glad to be back again
and you wonder to yourself where have I been

but you know that theres no answer at all
you're just glad to be back in the hole in the wall

now lay you're money down in the den of sin
cause the women you've known wanna know you again
and the Stranger is telling you to just give in

but you know that it wont help you at all
but you're glad to be back in the hole in the wall
