A Joyous Woe, A Woeful Joy Poem by Tyler Mason

A Joyous Woe, A Woeful Joy

Rating: 3.5

A joyous woe, A woefull joy!
Oh happy sorrow proud and coy!
In gloom and glee and direful lament
Be always with your life content!
And seek to see your soul's regrets
repent, but may you soon forget!
Though teach yourself to be taught
With what you've learned and what you've not
And what you've found and what you'll find
Is a solemn, sound, and peaceful mind
