Today is the right time to set things straight,
Today is the right time to make things clear.
Take all the love and throw all the hate,
For this is the start of a new year...

A new year is a new beginning,
A second chance? Yes, for me it is.
So take that chance and start mending,
All the pain and hardship there is...

You must forgive, also forget.
Learn to love and be loved by some.
Every move you must not regret,
Your happiness is yet to come...

Let go of those who do not want you,
Take in those who've protected your heart.
Let go of those not worth holding onto,
To give some space for those people who are...

Be kind to everybody,
But only trust a few.
When hurt by somebody,
Stand up and start anew...

You must be brave when trials are near
Backing down is never an option
You must not waver, and do not fear,
Do not wander into oblivion...

This humble poem was made for all of you,
To let you know you are appreciated.
Thank you for all the things you do,
For the memories we've created...

Let us remember moments that made us smile,
Let us forget memories that brought us tears.
Let us all bid the last year goodbye,
And gladly welcome this new year...
