dear god i prayed
but stiill no answer
maybe i was sloppy
next time il pray harder
i posted notes in the pray box
did you got em
i maybe theres a problem
getting mail up to heaven
ive read all your scripture
i pray every evening
every divine word
that you said i believe in
you used to guide me
I'd feel your presence
in prayer or communion
mass or confession
but now you feel distant
and never feel close
the struggles i had
i needed you most
I'd hang on to you word
stay strong with my faith
these unanswered prayers
make me feel its a waste
i got strength from your scripture
ive read all the gospels
revaluations and letters
and acts of apostle's
so when im depressed
I'd take it all in
your forgiveness condemns me
no matter the sin
but you've stop responding
now i am i wreck
im removing the cross
thats worn round my neck
am i doing it wrong
or am i not worth it
is the sins i committed
and the pain i deserve it
so its the last prayer
il ever be sending
my faith in you lord
has come to an ending
