Ever since the time
I grew a bit
I was laid upon
The responsibilities
I wasn't supposed to...

From the childhood
Till the time I am
I've just been
What others wanted to see
And have done
What they wished...

Throughout the time
I lived a life
That wasn't mine...

Living for others
And doing for others
Has only been what
I've ever dreamed....

Making one smile
I let myself cry
Hiding from others
I just tried...

Dreams of a father
Dreams of a mother
And the needs of a friend
Has only been
I've ever heard....

Loving others I lived
Everything I just give
I've lived a life
That wasn't mine...
