A Little Bright Light Poem by Jennifer Helton

A Little Bright Light

Oh it was a cold night
For I became blind by the sight,
Looking down at the small bright light that cannot be denyed
To even fathom what I read
Words were way far from being said,
Was it something I did, or something I said?
The distrust I do feel, away away I do say
Although...
Can the love I hole be just enough to look past that small bright light?
Only time can tell, but my guard will need very be let down.for my love is worth more than just a looksey.
