The pendulum swings, in a steady class
A silent dance, with each breath it takes
Elegantly gliding, as the world shakes
Hanging from above, in graceful grace
A pendulum's movement, a delicate embrace
From left to right, it swings with ease
A gentle breeze, in its pendulous tease
Tick tock, tick tock, the minutes fly
The pendulum's swing, never asking why
A clockwork machine, never tiring
A constant rhythm, forever inspiring
With each swing, time moves along
A never-ending beat, a steady song
The pendulum's pendulous arc
Guiding us, through light and dark
