A LOOK-419

I LOVE YOU

I love you.
Waves rise and subside.
Emotions run high
But what remains is love and love alone

Life begins with it
and ends with it
Life seeks its fulfilment
and felicity in it
Everything within,
and nothing outside.

My eyes want to see you,
my ears want to hear you,
my entire being longs
to sense your presence.

Even in silence,
I keep reaching for you.

My body and mind
are mortgaged to many.
I cannot come out of the cocoon.

My heart remembers
what my reason struggles to accept.

And my soul is free.
It is always with you.

Always with you,
even when I cannot be.
