A Losing Battle - Poem by Em oxox

pain and suffering to my right
heartache and sorrow to my left
behind me is darkness and death
infront is a chance to survive
my only chance to make it out alive
but the air is growing crisp
the walls are drawing nearer
the pain i feel is growing clearer
this will not be my grave
this will not be my end
i will make it out and live again
this battle i face is harder than it seams
my oponent nows my weakness's
she knows all my fears
my oponent is my emotions
my past i wish to forget
