A Marine Moms Tears by Jessica M

A Marines moms tears are not like other tears.
It's been said year after year.
They flow from eyes of fear and pride,
While we fight to surpress but still survive.
They flow from eyes of promise and hope,
While we fight to learn and somehow cope.
They flow from eyes of sacrifice and love,
While we fight for strength from up above.
They flow from eyes of joy and pain,
While we fight emotions we learn to restrain.
They flow from eyes of time and memories,
While we fight to accept these new discoveries.
They flow from eyes of compassion and trust,
While we fight and pray it is enough.
So please remember year after year.
A Marines moms tears are not like other tears.
