A Moment Poem by Tina MacAdam

A Moment

A whisper in your ear in the dark
A feeling deep down inside
A moment of weakness

A cry from the shadows
A chill runs through you
A moment of fear

A scream from within
A warm sensation rips through you
A moment of anger

A pleading voice calling to you
An empty void swallowing everything
A moment of defeat

A vision flashes through your mind
A numbing feeling taking over
A feeling of surrender

Some day we must all surrender to the bounderies of life itself.
