So my friend the year is nearly over
And a fresh start is edging closer
So much has happened to me
Yet I am still not free
So many people have passed me by
Some have even made me cry
But they say the good ones always stay
No more lies, no more childish play
And I’m excited about the new year
A fresh new start, no fear
I have things to look forward to
New people, new adventures, its true
I wonder what the future will bring
But lets celebrate with a drink
Lets dance a merry dance
For a brand new chance
For some happiness in our lives
So go on kiss your wives
And I wish you a very happy new year
May you be content forever, my dear.
