A Night Of Sorrow... Poem by Rey Sanidad

A Night Of Sorrow...

Rating: 3.5

I wonder... If the night can go by,
If cupids arrow can fly high
golden with light, sheer into the sky
Of a dawned tomorrow,
Without sleep delivering us from each other,
Or losing the mournful Unfruitful sorrow!

What is it then that you see at the window,
Endlessly watching the red sparks whirl and flee
As the night look through?
How I have longed for this night with you,
Yet every part of me cries in pain
To God to forget you.

But my soul's best dream is still
Aching most earnestly for your touch,
Yet I cannot move, however much
I would be your lover.

Come another night, come a new night,
say Will you destroy my heart?
Will you allow me to open the amorous,
aching bud of your body,
And loosen the burning flood
That would leap to me from your heart?
