PLEA FOR DEATH
Night oh night
Won't you rather fall on me
That I may through your door escape this great tumoil of time
Of fear and of failure
Of lost and of lust
Of promises I could not fulfill
Of time I have long betrayed
Of the hard fist of econonic mayhem
Of these many debts yet unpaid
And of this heartthrob so hard to find
You great fearful night
Come now I plead
For if I in you remain but still
I know I would now but peace obtain
Being a Homer free from debts
Come now oh come
Take me away with you
Lest I overstay my time in vain
For I have not fulfill the laws demand
Neither all my talents have I profit on them
Please fall on me
You heavy hand of nature's warrior
After all, you have taken giants along with you
Mighty men and holders of wealth have all benefited from you
For when peace wander away from them
You favour them by taking them home with you
How then have you poor me abscond
Come now and let me go with you and rest
For already my dossier have all being painted with red
Not for the blood shed
But for the things I fail to do
For the things I am yet to do
Again for the time I cannot redeem
For the battles I cannot conquer
For the wealth I cannot amaze
For this cross I refuse to carry
Many times, for my deeds and thoughts I cannot control
You landlord of motherearth
Afford me an abode to come and stay
For right here I have none to call my own
Not even spouse nor children to wail for pass
A complete fugitive living in pains
Death oh death
Come now and take me with you.
