A Queen Poem by Samantha Jaramillo

A Queen

The key to the castle is lost in time
The map to Her crown hidden in rhymes
The gates are shut tight
Too many wrongs not put right
But she knows that her kingdom is waiting.

But she cannot go back
In either peace nor attack
For that castle was never kind
She would never hit rewind
Outside of that home
She let her heart roam
The princess found love
Found it around, below, above
But if her kingdom calls
Will she answer, break down its walls
Will she be a queen?
