A Reverie Poem by SYAM CHANDRAN PERINKULAM

A Reverie

Innumerable Tabernacles,
Lustrous Domes,
Unfathomable Supplications,
Shabby Beggars,
Absurd coins,
Dancing Hacks...
As An Orphan Child
I Stand On The Street Aghast.
My Intellectuality,
My Sexuality,
My Frantic Fantasies,
My Poesy,
Are Poured Into A Pool.
I am the Ink
Which Is The Blood Of Someones Pen.
I Flow Into A Paper And become A Dark Poem.
Out Side My Office
Vehicles Groan.
An Old Fairy Grins On My Desktop Screen.
An Old Monk Fettered In A Cobweb
In The Corner Of The Wall.
I Startle.
