Take me on a drive, down the lost highway,
Where the wind blows wild, and the skies are grey,
Where the road stretches out, as far as the eye can see,
And the world fades away, just you and me.
Let's cruise down the asphalt, with no destination in mind,
With nothing but the sound of the engine, and the passage of time,
Where the journey is the reward, and the road is the path,
And we'll leave our worries, far behind.
And as we roll down the lost highway,
Let's soak in the beauty, of the world around,
With the sun on our faces, and the wind in our hair,
And the memories, that we'll always have found.
So come on, take me on a drive, down the lost highway,
Where the world slows down, and we can escape,
And let's chase the horizon, until the day we die,
For this journey, will always be, our fate.
