A Serpent Is A Snake - Poem by Charles Hamouth

Truth is a coiled serpent
with a loose spring
who can't admit it's a snake.

Acts like a rabid bitch in heat.

The dictionary definition
is undefined.
Truth means true.
It laughs in your face
mocks you.

Ironically,
we use the word
as if it were written in stone.
