A Sheep To My Shepherd Poem by Karen Lee

A Sheep To My Shepherd

The Lord is my shepherd
I shall not want
He make me to lie down
In green pastures
...and I'll dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life.

The baby Jesus
came humbly in a manger
A king! A shepherd!
God in human flesh!

He perplex the wise;
king fear Him.
He who has given so much
chose so little
He confounded the wise.

The only foundation He built was LOVE.
We repay Him With death!
But the world didn't know
This humble child was our Savior
They kept looking for one who will come
with great splendor!

He was rejected, mocked!
He bare our grief and shame
He suffered and die.
He conqueror the grave!
How great thou hath!

To Him I gave my heart!
One who came swaddled in a manger
While Horses, donkeys and sheeps
Slept, only the Magi knew...

I will have no other God, but you!
I will enter in your tabernacle with praise!
I will come into your gates with singing!
I will tell of your wonderful acts in thanksgiving.
I will worship you all of my day!

I will forever look unto you,
when I called
you have answered
and save me!
You are my refuge and Strenght!
I have no other.

Who I have in heaven but thee?

Lord prepare me
a sanctuary;
use me according to thy will.
I am your!
