A Sight In Sore Eyes Poem by Alexander Foald

A Sight In Sore Eyes

When will this time come to an end
As if there's no such thing that's so coherent
I've tried many ways to say how hard it was
Only to see that you're gone from this space

I spent through this time with my last energy
Putting my best effort should never be easy
You see the lights burn far above in the sky
Weep out the soreness of being kept in a lie

Like the white snow in a calm fall
Like we used to be a lovely couple
I want what's yours and I want what's mine
But it seems you never feel what's in the line

I fell in love with you
Like the sweet fall in autumn season
Though you never know what drove us through
You still can see what made all this begun
