A Sketch Poem by Deepak Ranga

A Sketch

Throughout my life until we met, I was preparing a Sketch,
I used all the colors on Earth that I could fetch.
A face so enchanting was drawn, in the background was an exquisite lawn.
Sharp eyelids, well contoured eyebrows, when put in place,
It added a totally new dimension to the face.
It's so true and no lies, without ringing a bell they cast their spell.
So magically drawn were the eyes.
The rarest Rose turned into her nose,
For a Human heart it was too deadly a dose.
When by Venus, on either side a petal was laid.
That's when your cute cheeks were made.
It was total black, there was no day just one full night,
To color your tresses, we used half the night,
People started calling it Day when they saw light.
To complete it all, you were given the most amazing bod,
Now, only YOU can be more beautiful than yourself,
if it were to be someone else, it had himself to be God.
