A Smile That Lasts A Lifetime Poem by Mark Oloo

A Smile That Lasts A Lifetime

We met when we were still young,
Our paths crossed and to new beginnings,
Blindly towards where the vehicle would go,
Carry us together to a better place for me,
And a better place for you to have a smile,
A smile that lasts a lifetime.

Happiness is what was sought by a couple,
That futures would blend in perfectly well,
Days and nights, weeks, months and years,
A lasting friendship and even companionship,
A bond that would last a lifetime,
And a smile that lasts a lifetime.

Some whispering on the corridors,
When we are behind closed doors together,
Working on our dream, to conquer the World,
Polishing up our script and getting our act together,
If you don't believe in something, You will fall for anything,
And once it is al done, Finalize it with
A smile that lasts for a lifetime.
