A Soul In Waiting Poem by shane lewicki

A Soul In Waiting

Stuck in an abyss of silence,
Darkness turns...
Forever existing is the entity of light but never seen,
Trapped in a realm of sadness, forgotten is the wisdom..
The words that used to flow like a cascading waterfall,
Slowly burn in a pit of fire,
For the feelings that used to exist, have been scorned...
The hatred that posseses a single look can be felt miles away,
Flames of love that used to exist have dissapeared into blackened coals of spite,
One soul damned to eternity,
Forever seeking a path to forgivness,
Only knowing the path ends in sorrow,
Bleeding hearts smothering a soul crying for freedom,
For silence overwelmes, the soul dies,
Left is a bottomless pit,
Waiting for the necture love can bring.
