A Story Of What We Used To Be Poem by Riya Gangwar

A Story Of What We Used To Be

Sittin' be the sea,
thinkin' of you and me,
what a memory.
It is nothing more than just a summer breeze,
I am begging you come back, please
because I have never felt so right.
All that we had before,
it is now hard to ignore.
Somewhere at the bottom of the sea,
there is a story of you and me.
I never thought it could be like this,
You blew me your last kiss.
I fell down on my knee,
now you can see the real side of me.
You caught me daydreaming,
all on my own, writing up this song.
I fell in love with an angel sent from above.
I never felt so right..
All that we had before,
it is now hard to ignore.
Somewhere at the bottom of the sea,
there is a story of you and me.
I never thought it could be like this,
You blew me your last kiss.
I fell down on my knee,
now you can see the real side of me.
They say we were meant to be,
it is nothing more, but just a memory,
slowly fading away.
I'm singing up this song,
watching you move along,
watching you move along..
All that we had before,
it is now hard to ignore.
Somewhere at the bottom of the sea,
there is a story of you and me.
I never thought it could be like this,
You blew me your last kiss.
I fell down on my knee,
now you can see the real side of me.
