A Thief Of My Heart Poem by River Boswell

A Thief Of My Heart

Rating: 5.0

'Wounded, my body carries the weight,
Of a secret so heavy, it's hard to relate,
Innocence stolen, a thief in the night,
Leaves bruises and scars, an unforgivable blight.

But from me it was taken, without a trace,
Alone in my sorrow, I mourned in pain,
The life that was taken from me.

Until one day my sweet willow tree'
