A Thousand Eyes Poem by Danielle Candy

A Thousand Eyes

A Thousand Eyes staring your way
watching your every move
each and every day.
Making you return into your shell
Making you body language
hard to read has hell
The eyes are scaring you away
Tearing our relationship
with each and every day.

It is words that caused
these Eyes to stare,
making you feel so naked and
Bare. You blame me for
These words I did not speak
So I give you the silent
treatment for a week

To be silent to you
Will hurt me to
I love nothing more then
Speaking to you and the way
Laugh and smile will make
this week worth while

After this week of trial
I will be happy to see
Your smile.
I will try to regain
I'll try to make it the same
The same way has before
When we both knew the score
We was just too shy
And there where no eyes

Just me and you breaking through the shyness
When there was no eyes and no words to
Make the eyes appear, there was only love no tears
