A Villain's Last Words Poem by Yui Mikazuki

A Villain's Last Words

Rating: 5.0

I've always knew that no one in this world will ever accept or understand me.
For the sins in my past has already been written all over my body.
Set in stone cannot be undo, cannot be rewind.
I've always wonder why am I such a disgrace.
I guess that day you killed me, shall put me to my place.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This short poem is a reference to a story i made up about a villainous person who experience betrayal from her lover. The heinous crimes she had done in the past was the reason for the lover's betrayal. She was unhappy but was not surprise at the same time since she already knew that no one (not even her lover) will ever understand the way she thinks and the reasons for all her actions. Her mind is questioning her own behavior and her thoughts. She felt like she deserve it and thought of her life as the price she has to pay for all the crimes she had committed.
