A Vision Poem by Heart Of Ink

A Vision

I had a dream
I woke up too soon
On the mountain with you
And all the animals were there
But we weren't at all that scared
So the prophecy's become true
And the sun defeated the moon

And a troubled heart
That's made of ancient stones
To the hunter, it was more like a foe
Now we must act in order to set it free
And forbid the monster's killing spree
Together, with our flesh and bones
Let us all end this meaningless woe

Then I saw a light
It was coming from a cave
And the prophet of the night
Was reciting to me a few words

A lion on his right
And it turned out to be his son
And he spoke of a begger's plight
Let him be the one to seal the earth
