A Walking Contradiction Poem by Zak Raz

A Walking Contradiction

Do you think you see, with eyes up ahead,

Me or the reflection of me, in the mirror inside your heart,

Can you tell me if you see, a face or a fright,

A man or a God, a heart or only dark,

Or would you like to know,

What I think I see,

in the mirror of your heart,

Is a man who is a walking contradiction,

Who is fire, who is ice,

Who is alive and who is dead,

Who struggles and repents,

Then sins and then forgets,

A man of paradox,

A Man lost in actions,

But found in thought,

Wandering in reflections,

In other people's hearts,

When he does not himself know,

What leaves him distraught.
