A Wasted Love Ditty Poem by Sinashta, Sidra

A Wasted Love Ditty

By the sunset, the night charm gets strong
By the salty sea, call breeze, where we belong

The sun loses sparkling, the sky gets dark
The lights turn on in our favourite park

Time is no longer on our side
It keeps running out, earns its pride

The clock ticks at midnight
Time to your distant flight

We said goodbye, hugged and cried
Each other's hearts stuck and tied

Years pass, we meet in our old city
But, where is our love ditty?
