A Wild Rose Poem by elaina barr

A Wild Rose

A wild rose in a garden of dreams,
lost from the colours of its neighbours,
withering petals falling down,
its cherished character forgotten.

Loved once by everyone,
a companion of nature its self,
pricked by ts own thorn,
to die in its own lost memory.
