A Wondering To and Fro
--FreeBird 02
I wonder to and fro
A wondering which way to go
One way is deep in a trench
The other, each blade of grass still shows
Oh, I wonder which way to go?
Sanctuarity says whoa
Curiosity says go
So splitting each blade of grass I go
Each new blade of grass lead to another
Till travel I do slumber.
As I awaken,
I wonder which way to go
The trail behind looks weary
But the view ahead looks cheery
So splitting the leafs I must go.
Now I rest upon the mountain high
Glazing down to valley low
Seeing this is where I must go
For this view is clearly
Needed oh so dearly
I wonder to and fro
A wondering which way to go
One way is deep in a trench
The other, each blade of grass still shows
Oh, I wonder which way to go?
