Darkness is not an absence,
nor sorrow, nor pain.
Hatred is not an absence,
nor conflicts that remain.
Solitude is not an absence,
nor voids that life may hold.
Insensitivity persistsโ
these shadowed hues endure.
But shelter your pain & voids,
And ensure your presence for sure.
Absence is giving up โ
Giving up on _
Your hope
Your light
love in life
Muting the truth
Wounding the heart
letting faith dissolve,
compassion's end.
Absence is also an existence
stripped off life's fierce sparkโ
a body breathing,
yet a soul lost in the dark.
Presence - ah, ! So hard to define it too
it's the pulse of our physical existence around.
But the lack of your truest self
is where absence is found.
What is your absence?
Name its shadowed face.
Is absence your hidden vulnerabilities?
Let your warrior's spirit rise,
reclaim your rightful place.
You cannot hide from your true self
As it sees you through the haze pane of your doubts and darkness.
Stand bold in its gaze,
let your inner light reflect your darkness.
Absenceโa deceptively simple wordโ
It may sound masking your existence at stake.
But you name it as -
'Not being awake.'
