Accepted Choice Poem by Meli Secret

Accepted Choice

You chose it dear one.
Let your steps fall softly, quietly.
Let them be shadowed by leaves and pine needles.

Let the green limbs hide you, dappled embrace.
You chose alone, you walk alone now dear one.
Why question? Cherished choice, longed for choice.

Take the hand that stayed.
Let go - all the hands that were shadow.
Embrace your choice - alone.
